Welcome to Rocker V Ranch, where our lifelong dream turned into a joyful reality in the heart of East Texas. In 2017, after retiring, we—Steve and Christine Vest—set out to build a life rooted in nature, hard work, and love for animals. Our 258-acre ranch just outside of Leona, TX became not just our forever home, but also the perfect place to raise our beautiful Goldendoodle and Bernedoodle puppies.
What began with our beloved Golden Retriever, Rylie, has grown into a passion-driven breeding program focused on health, temperament, and home-raised care. Our dogs are not kennel-kept—they’re family. Raised inside our home and around children, our puppies are social, smart, and full of affection.
Alongside our doodles, our ranch is also home to Dexter cattle, Spanish-cross goats, and a dedicated team of livestock guardian dogs. We’re planning to launch our Farm-to-Table meat program in 2026.

At Rocker V Ranch, we specialize in breeding Goldendoodle and Bernedoodle puppies that are healthy, home-raised, and well-socialized. In addition, we raise Dexter cattle and Spanish-cross goats, with plans to offer farm-to-table beef and goat meat starting in 2026.
We treat every puppy like family. Our dogs are raised in our home—not in kennels—loved, exercised, and socialized from day one. With DNA-tested parents, years of experience, and a deep commitment to ethical breeding, we provide happy, healthy companions you can trust.
